Meeting with Taipei economic and cultural office in HCMC

On April 5, 2021, People’s Teacher. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Thanh Nha - Rector of the University and Dr. Do Thi Tuyet Nhung – Chairwoman of the university board of trustees chaired a meeting and discussed with Ms. Au Quy Hy - Secretary of Education, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City.

          Also in attendance were Ms. Luong Gia Van, an assistant of Teipei economic and cultural office in Ho Chi Minh City and representatives of the leaders of Department of Scientific Research - International Cooperation - Inspections - Legislations, Department of Political Affairs and Student Management, Center for Foreign Languages ​​- Informatics.  

          At the meeting, People’s Teacher. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Huynh Thanh Nha welcomed the delegation and introduced the overview and highlights of Can Tho University of Technology.

Can Tho University of Technology wished and proposed partners to support the University with opportunities for offering graduate scholarships, cultural and academic exchanges, internships and jobs for students.

Ms. Au Quy Hy expressed her pleasure to visit and work with Can Tho University of Technology, at the same time introduced areas where the two sides have strengths in Engineering - Technology and discussed about mutual cooperation opportunities.

          The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office side shared and exchanged outstanding information in the field of education, scholarship and study abroad programs, providing information on needs, recruitment opportunities, and internships for students at Taiwanese enterprises in Vietnam.

The working session ended in an atmosphere of understanding, leaders of the two sides acknowledged the goodwill and assigned relevant departments to continue researching, coordinating and implementing in accordance with common needs and interests.

          After the meeting with the leaders of the University, the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office had an exchange and meeting with students to inform students about scholarship programs, culture, education and short-term exchange programs.
