On January 23rd, 2021, CTUT held the recognition ceremony and be awarded the Certificate of educational quality assurance Accreditation. Attending the ceremony, there were the representative of all relevant sides: on the side of Can Tho city committee and its departments, agencies, there were Mr. Duong Tan Hien, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee. Can Tho; Ms. Vo Thi Hong Anh, former member of the City Council, former Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City; Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thuong, Head of Organization Department, Party Committee of Can Tho City's Civil Affairs; Mr. Vo Minh Loi, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Can Tho City; Mr. Tran Hoai Phuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Can Tho City. On the side of the Quality Accreditation Center, Danang University, there were Assoc. Nguyen Quang Giao, Deputy Director, be in charge of Education Accreditation Center; MSc. Nguyen Thi Huong Tra, Head of General Administration Department and members of the delegation. On the side of the University, there were the rectorate board, leaderships, staff, lecturers, and representative students.

           At the Ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thi Huong Tra, Head of General Administration Department of Education Quality Accreditation Center – Danang University announced the recognition decision in granting the Certificate of Educational Quality Accreditation  to Can Tho University of Engineering and Technology. .

           Assoc. Dr. Nguyen Quang Giao, Deputy Director in charge of Education Accreditation Center - Danang University, had a brief report on the implementation process of preliminary assessment, external assessment and defense session before undergoing the evaluation of the Ministry of Education and Training. Thereby, the group of experts highly appreciated the sense of effort and the cooperation of CTUT staff in ensuring education quality. On behalf of the Center's experts, Assoc. Dr. Nguyen Quang Giao awarded the Certificate of Education Quality Accreditation and souvenirs to the university. 

           People’s teacher. Assoc. Prof.  Dr. Huynh Thanh Nha, Rector of the University, on behalf of the collective leadership, staff, lecturers and students of CTUT, expressed his deepest gratitude to the leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training, the CT City Party Committee, the CT People's Council, the CT  People's Committee and other departments and agencies, in the past time, they have created all favorable conditions for the University to successfully complete its assigned tasks, the experts from the Center for Education Accreditation - Danang University have worked with the sense of seriousness, responsibility, objectivity, publicity, transparency and lawfulness.
